Shaljam Gosht Recipe

    • Ingredients:
    • 1/2 cup Oil
    • 1 large Onion
    • 700g Mutton
    • 2 tbsp. Ginger garlic Paste
    • 3-4 Tomatoes
    • Salt to taste
    • 1/2 tbsp. Red chili powder
    • 1/2 tsp Turmeric
    • 3 cup Water
    • 1/2 kg turnip
    • 2 tsp Coriander powder
    • 1/2 tsp Garam Masala
    • 3-4 Green chilies
    • 3-4 tbsp. Green coriander
    • Directions:
    • - In a pan heat oil, add onions, saute for 2-3 minutes. then add mutton and ginger garlic paste. cook for 6-8 minutes.
    • - Add tomatoes, salt, red chili flakes, turmeric, red chili powder and cook until tomatoes get tender.
    • - Add water and cover the lid. Cook for 6-8 minutes.
    • - Add Turnip, coriander powder, garam masala and cook for 5-6 minutes on high flame.
    • - Add water and cover the lid. Cook for 12-15 minutes on medium flame.
    • - Turn off the flame, add coriander leaves and cover the lid for minute.
    • - Serve hot with Roti, Naan or Rice.

    1 hour

    Serve:

    4-5 persons
