• Ingredients:
  • 1/2 kg Mutton
  • 4 cup water
  • 1 cup Onion
  • 1 tbsp Ginger garlic paste
  • 1 tsp Turmeric
  • 1 tsp Khara masala
  • 1 cup Tomato
  • Salt to taste
  • 2 tsp red Chili powder
  • 1/2 tsp Cumin powder
  • 1 tsp Coriander powder
  • 1/2 cup Oil
  • 1 & cup Split Chickpeas (Boiled)
  • 1/2 tsp Garam Masala
  • 1/2 tsp Fenugreek Leaves
  • For Tarka:
  • 4-5 tbsp Oil
  • 1/2 tsp Cumin
  • 3 Whole red chilies
  • 5-6 Kari Leaves
  • Directions:
  • -In a pan add mutton. Water, turmeric, onion, ginger garlic paste, whole spices and mix well. Cover the lid and cook for 20-25 minutes on medium low flame or until the mutton gets tender.
  • -Remove the stock and keep it aside.
  • -Now add tomato, red chili powder, cumin powder, coriander powder, oil, salt and mix well. Cook for 5-6 minutes.
  • -Now add spilt chickpeas, mix well. Add stock and then let it cook for 12-15 minutes on medium low flame. (add water if required)
  • -Now add garam masala, fenugreek leaves, mix it well.
  • -For Tarka heat oil in a pan, add cumin, whole red chili, Kari leaves and cook for few seconds.

40-45 minutes
