
Ingredients:
- 1/2 kg Mutton
- 4 cup water
- 1 cup Onion
- 1 tbsp Ginger garlic paste
- 1 tsp Turmeric
- 1 tsp Khara masala
- 1 cup Tomato
- Salt to taste
- 2 tsp red Chili powder
- 1/2 tsp Cumin powder
- 1 tsp Coriander powder
- 1/2 cup Oil
- 1 & cup Split Chickpeas (Boiled)
- 1/2 tsp Garam Masala
- 1/2 tsp Fenugreek Leaves
- For Tarka:
- 4-5 tbsp Oil
- 1/2 tsp Cumin
- 3 Whole red chilies
- 5-6 Kari Leaves
- Directions:
- -In a pan add mutton. Water, turmeric, onion, ginger garlic paste, whole spices and mix well. Cover the lid and cook for 20-25 minutes on medium low flame or until the mutton gets tender.
- -Remove the stock and keep it aside.
- -Now add tomato, red chili powder, cumin powder, coriander powder, oil, salt and mix well. Cook for 5-6 minutes.
- -Now add spilt chickpeas, mix well. Add stock and then let it cook for 12-15 minutes on medium low flame. (add water if required)
- -Now add garam masala, fenugreek leaves, mix it well.
- -For Tarka heat oil in a pan, add cumin, whole red chili, Kari leaves and cook for few seconds.
